Welcome to my website! I do appreciate your willingness to read more about my credential and background. As I consider to run for Township Supervisor, I hope you will work alongside me as we strive to make our local government fluid and accountable.
I was born and raised in Southern California for almost 27 years and moved to Berks County in 1993. Since 1996, my wife and I decided to reside in Maidencreek to raise my family in a comfortable, tranquil community. My wife and I are raising two active boys; Matthew, 13 and Mark, 11. I earn my living as an Instructional Technology Specialist at the School District of Lancaster. I am certified as a School Library Media Specialist as well as a Master's Degree of Education in Instructional Technology from Kutztown University. In my role, I help facilitate and support teachers and administrators to use educational technology in their day-to-day instruction. After school hours, I am involved running around to be supportive of my son's chosen sports. As I spend time with my family, I do take a moment to participate, as much as I can, in various community activities such attending monthly township meetings so that I can be current on community issues.
In my official capacity as a Chairman of the Township Auditor for the past seven years, I learned about the role of our local government with the community. To help reflect and serve the needs of the community, I was part of a team that developed a bi-partisan group called Maidencreek Voters Alliance. This group helped encourage our citizens to be actively involve in our political process and as a link between concerned citizen and local officials. As stated by Charles De Gaulle (1890 - 1970), "...politics are too serious a matter to be left to the politicians. It is my duty and honor to guard and protect our cherished community's asset.
